What is the rain out policy?

Aeros home games are rarely rained out and are almost never canceled before game time. Fans are welcome to call the main office at 330-253-5151 to inquire about the weather, but more than likely you will be instructed that "the game is still on." If you choose to call, we ask that you please remember that ALL WEATHER DECISIONS ARE MADE AS CLOSE TO GAME TIME AS POSSIBLE, and we will virtually NEVER have updated information on the status of a 7:05 p.m. game in the morning or early afternoon hours of the day.

If you have a pre-game picnic scheduled, that will go on, as our picnic areas are covered.

We prefer that you check the main page of akronaeros.com for updates or listen to our flagship station, Fox Sports 1350AM, for an update on the status of all games.

If an official game is not played (at least 4 1/2 innings), your game ticket (or ticket stub) serves as a rain check for any remaining regular season home game (subject to availability). Your rain check must be redeemed at any Aeros ticket office or Infield Outfitters, the official Akron Aeros team shop, for the game of your choice. You can also mail the tickets, along with your requested date and return address to:
