1. When do the gates open prior to the game?
Gates open one hour prior to all games. Gates open at 6:05 for evening games and 12:05 for afternoon games. [TOP]

2. When is Wing Warehouse at Canal Park open? Are reservations necessary?
Win Warehouse at Canal Park is open Monday through Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - Midnight, Thursday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. and Sundays 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. On game days, reservations are not needed for any group, but a valid game ticket is required to exit the restaurant into Canal Park. 3. What do I do when a game rains out?
Listen to our flagship station, SportsRadio 1350AM, for an update on the status of all games. If an official game is not played (at least 4 1/2 innings), your game ticket (or ticket stub) serves as a rain check for any remaining regular season home game (subject to availability). Your rain check must be redeemed at any Aeros ticket office or Infield Outfitters, the official Akron Aeros team shop, for the game of your choice. You can also mail the tickets, along with your requested date and return address to:

4. Can I tryout with the Akron Aeros?
Tryouts are not held by Minor League Baseball teams. MILB teams are assigned players by their Major League Baseball affiliate. The Major League Scouting Bureau conducts tryout camps around the country and can be reached at 909-980-1881 for tryout information. [TOP]

5. Are there internship opportunities available?
The Aeros offer fall, and spring and summer internships in the areas of ticketing, marketing/community relations, media relations, merchandising and stadium operations. Fall interviews take place in the month of August and last through approximately September-December. Spring interviews take place in November and last through approximately January-May or beyond. Summer interviews take place in March and run through approximately May-September.

6. How can I get a donation for my non-profit organization?
We gladly fill as many donation requests as we can. Please note that all baseball equipment is property of the Cleveland Indians and cannot be given as donated items. We ask that requests be sent hard copy, on company/business letterhead if possible (if not, just a letter will do), to the following address:

The date of your event MUST be included for your request to be considered. Do not expect to receive your materials until 1-2 weeks outside of your event REGARDLESS of any deadlines you may have. If your auction date is less than four weeks away, your request will NOT be considered.

7. How can I sing the National Anthem before a game?
To be considered for the anthem before a game, you must send an audition tape, CD or video (non-returnable) of yourself singing the anthem to:

8. Can I have my son/daughter/friend's birthday announced/put on the scoreboard?
To have a birthday or anniversary announced at Canal Park please report to the Zayo Enterprise Networks customer service window behind Section 101. A $5.00 donation to Akron Aeros Charities is required for each announcement. Exact change is preferred. Requests must be submitted by the end of the third inning. REQUESTS WILL NOT BE TAKEN IN ADVANCE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. [TOP]

9. At what age can children enter the ballpark free?
Any child 3 years or younger can enter without a ticket as long as the child does not need to take up another seat in the park. [TOP]

10. Can I bring food or beverages into the ballpark?
Eastern League Rule Article XX Section 19 states: "In the interest of public safety, no cans bottles, food or containers may be brought into Eastern League ballparks." Aeros ushers are instructed to NOT allow food and drink into Canal Park. [TOP]

11. How do I get to Canal Park?
From Cleveland: I-77 South to Route 59 East. Exit at Exchange/Cedar and turn right on Cedar. Go to Main Street, turn left and ballpark is on the left.

From Canton: I-77 North to Main/Downtown exit. Follow to Broadway Street, turn left on Exchange Street, right on to Main Street. Ballpark on left.

From Youngstown: I-76 West to Main/Downtown exit. Follow to Broadway Street, turn left on Exchange Street, right on to Main Street. Ballpark on left.

From Wooster/Mansfield: I-76 East to Route 59 East. Exit at Exchange/Cedar and turn right on Cedar. Go to Main Street, turn left and ballpark is on the left.

From Medina: Route 18 East to I-77 South. Follow to Route 59 East. Exit at Exchange/Cedar and turn right on Cedar. Go to Main Street, turn left and ballpark is on the left. [TOP]

12. Where can I park?
The Akron Aeros are not responsible for any Canal Park parking. However, there are over 12,000 parking spaces located within a 10 minute walk of Canal Park. Convienient parking lots are numerous and available for game day parking.

If any of the lots listed on the city's map are incorrectly designated as free, please contact the City of Akron offices for further guidance. The Aeros have NO authority over city parking. [TOP]

13. Where is will-call?
The Will-Call Window, in Ticket Office B, is located near the corner of State and Main Streets. The Will-Call Window opens two hours prior to all Aeros games. A picture ID is required to pick up all tickets. [TOP]

14. Do you have a lost and found?
The Aeros "lost and found" is located at the Customer Service Window. [TOP]

15. Can I smoke inside the ballpark?
Canal Park is a NON-SMOKING public facility. However, the designated smoking area is located behind Sections 114 and 116. [TOP]

16. Can I exit the park and re-enter?
Once you have left the ballpark, you may not return under any circumstance unless you purchase a new ticket. In case of an emergency, please go to customer service. [TOP]

17. Do you have an ATM machine in the park?
We now have an ATM machine located next to Customer Service, behind Section 103. [TOP]

18. Are there refunds or exchanges on my tickets?
Sorry, but once a ticket is purchased, it is non-refundable and there are no exchanges unless a game does not become official (e.g. rainout, see the Aeros rainout policy for more details on the rainout procedure). [TOP]

19. How can I get my favorite Aeros' player autographs?
Prior to game time, fans have the opportunity to get player autographs. Fans will be asked to return to their seats 20 minutes prior to the start of every game for the enjoyment of fans located in seats nearby. Please do not go onto the field or on the players' dugout for any reason. Thank you for your cooperation. [TOP]

20. Can I write to my favorite player?
Fans wishing to correspond with an Aeros player should send requests to:

21. How can I get giveaways/promotional items?

Aeros premium giveaways are limited to the number promoted on all Aeros promotional schedules. Due to unforeseen circumstances, all Aeros premium giveaways and special attractions are subject to change without notice. The Aeros strongly recommend arriving early to the park and apologize to those who do not receive premium giveaways. [TOP]
