STOP US IF YOU’VE HEARD THIS....AEROS WASHED OUT WEDNESDAY. AGAIN.
This has got to be some sort of record. Akron was rained out for the fourth straight day Wednesday, as a mist turned drizzle turned sprinkles turned showers turned full-blown downpour postponed the Eastern League matchup between the Aeros and the Altoona Curve. The teams will make up the contest tomorrow (Thursday) morning with a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games starting at 10:35 a.m. Please note that this does not affect the normal start time for Thursday’s game.
The other make-up game will be held on Akron’s next visit to Altoona, as the teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 16th at 5:05 p.m. Again, the normal start time for that game is unaffected.
Thursday morning’s broadcast begins at 10:20 a.m. on SportsRadio 1350 WARF-AM and online at www.akronaeros.com. For more information, please call the Aeros at (330) 253-5151.
